Overview

Boscov's Department Store is seeking experienced Retail Sales Department Managers to join their team in Rockland, Delaware. In this role, you will supervise a team of associates, ensuring excellent customer service and effective sales management while contributing to a dynamic retail environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and participate in merchandising and setup of the selling floor
  • Manage sales and stock functions
  • Train, coach, and develop associates by leading by example
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge for excellent customer service
  • Complete all transactions and paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure all advertised merchandise is set and signed properly

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior retail sales management experience
  • Strong selling and customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to learn computer systems and POS register
  • Available to work varied days and hours, including evenings and weekends
