Overview

Ashley The Wellsville Group is seeking a Retail Operations Coordinator for their Fairlawn or Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio locations. This role involves ensuring operational excellence in the store, supporting retail management and the sales team, and executing standard operating procedures alongside the General Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Audit all sales and payment transactions
  • Receive and reconcile weekly inventory transfers
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts on showroom floor
  • Assist with employee scheduling and review missed punches
  • Conduct training sessions on current systems and processes
  • Coordinate building maintenance and IT needs
  • Resolve customer service concerns with the Customer Service Center
  • Reconcile showroom funds monthly
  • Generate reports as required by GM or Corporate Operations
  • Act as a liaison between Corporate Support Departments and the retail location
  • Update and assign communication devices

Required skills

  • Retail operational experience preferred
  • Full availability for a full-time retail schedule
  • Ability to problem solve and analyze data
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, STORIS, and point of sales programs
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and seek guidance as needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ethical behavior
  • High School Diploma or GED
