Overview

Ashley The Wellsville Group is seeking a Retail Operations Coordinator for their Fairlawn or Cuyahoga Falls locations. This role involves ensuring operational excellence in the store, supporting the retail management and sales team, and executing standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, process-driven, and capable of problem-solving.

Key responsibilities

  • Audit all sales and payment transactions
  • Receive weekly merchandise transfer trucks
  • Conduct and reconcile weekly inventory, including cycle counts
  • Review missed punches and overtime hours for team members
  • Assist with maintaining the schedule for showroom team members
  • Conduct training on current systems and processes
  • Facilitate building maintenance and IT needs
  • Partner with Customer Service Center to resolve customer concerns
  • Reconcile showroom funds monthly
  • Generate routine reports for GM or Corporate Operations
  • Serve as a liaison between Corporate Support and retail location
  • Update and assign walkie talkies
  • Oversee office and cleaning supply list

Required skills

  • Full availability for a full-time retail schedule including Saturdays
  • Problem-solving and data analysis skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, STORIS, and point of sales programs
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and ask for guidance when needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior retail operational experience preferred
