Overview

The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking a Retail Merchandiser Team Lead to enhance shopping experiences and facilitate merchandising support in stores. This role involves overseeing in-store displays, managing inventory, and assisting in training and scheduling for new hires.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers
  • Build displays and end caps
  • Reset shelves with product rotation
  • Track inventory to maximize sales opportunities
  • Assist leadership with reporting and scheduling
  • Train and onboard new hires

Required skills

  • 1-2 years of merchandising experience
  • Experience in team leadership and training
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable transportation
  • Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for record-keeping
