Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser Team Lead at The Retail Odyssey Company, you will play a crucial role in shaping shopping experiences by providing in-store merchandising support to retailers. Your responsibilities will include building displays, resetting shelves, managing inventory, and supporting leadership with various operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers

  • Track inventory to maximize sales opportunities
  • Support leadership with reporting and training
  • Schedule and onboard new hires

Required skills

  • 1-2 years of merchandising experience
  • Experience leading and training people
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with customers and management
  • Physical capability to move, bend, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable transportation to work
  • Proficient with smartphone or tablet for work documentation
  • Self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
  • Successful team building skills
