Overview

As a Retail Department Manager of Power Equipment at Buchheit Inc, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing profit and loss for your assigned area. Leading a team and maintaining a hands-on approach, you will develop staff and execute company objectives to enhance the overall performance of the retail store.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive sales and profitability through customer satisfaction
  • Ensure all planograms are executed
  • Supervise, train, and develop staff in all functions required to run the assigned area
  • Maintain pricing, display, and stock of merchandise according to inventory levels
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle customer complaints professionally

  • Delegate and manage resources effectively
  • Operate forklift or industrial truck for merchandise handling
  • Conduct safety awareness to protect employees and customers

Required skills

  • Knowledge and experience with outdoor power equipment products
  • Experience with 2-cycle units and accessories
  • 3-4 years of retail experience
  • Retail Management experience preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
