Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor who will provide exceptional service to pet parents while leading store operations. This role involves supporting associate development, ensuring safety and cleanliness in the store, and enhancing the overall pet parent experience through various initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate training and development
  • Drive pet parent experience strategies
  • Address and resolve associate complaints and grievances
  • Promote store events and coordinate marketing efforts
  • Oversee live pet sales and adoptions
  • Maintain store standards and cleanliness
  • Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures
  • Support various departments as needed

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong communication skills
