Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor in Knoxville, TN who will enhance the pet parent experience and oversee store operations. This role includes supporting associate development, managing customer interactions, and ensuring store cleanliness and safety while maintaining the company’s values.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional pet parent service and address concerns
  • Support associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching
  • Lead and direct associates in daily tasks and operations
  • Promote and coordinate store events and marketing initiatives
  • Manage live pet sales and adoptions
  • Ensure compliance with store safety and cleanliness standards
  • Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience
