Overview

The Retail Customer Service Supervisor at PetSmart plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to pet parents while supporting the development of store associates. This position involves overseeing store operations, ensuring a positive pet parent experience, and leading team engagement efforts in a retail environment focused on pets and their families.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching
  • Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies
  • Drive pet parent experience through service and promotional strategies
  • Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems
  • Promote store events and manage live pet sales and adoptions
  • Delegate and validate daily tasks amongst associates
  • Address and resolve associate complaints and grievances
  • Support the overall brand integrity and store experience

Required skills
