Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder) to create exceptional experiences for pet parents while leading a team of associates. This role is essential in driving customer satisfaction, overseeing store operations, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for both pets and customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate experience and support their development through training and mentoring
  • Drive pet parent experience strategies and address customer concerns
  • Promote and coordinate store events and marketing initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational policies
  • Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards
  • Backup point-of-sale operations and handle cash transactions
  • Oversee daily tasks and delegate responsibilities to associates
  • Support other departments as needed

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
