Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder) in Oxnard, California, to enhance the pet parent experience and ensure operations align with the company's vision and values. This role involves leading associates, addressing customer interactions, and overseeing store safety and cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate training, onboarding, and development
  • Ensure exceptional service for pet parents through multiple channels
  • Promote and coordinate store events and marketing initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with store policies and procedures
  • Address and administrator associate grievances and complaints
  • Supervise store operations and act as Leader on Duty when necessary
  • Manage cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems
  • Ensure a safe environment for associates and pets

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
