Overview

PetSmart is looking for a Retail Customer Service Supervisor in Calgary, Alberta, to provide exceptional service to pet parents while supporting associate development and store operations. The role involves overseeing the customer experience, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and store standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate experience and development through training and mentoring
  • Lead daily operations and ensure completion of assigned tasks
  • Address and manage associate complaints and grievances
  • Promote and coordinate store events and marketing
  • Ensure a high-quality pet parent experience in-store and online
  • Maintain store cleanliness and standards
  • Assist with sales and cash handling at point-of-sale systems
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Support various Services businesses as needed
  • Assist in other departments as required

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to react under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
