Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor to provide exceptional service to pet parents while upholding the company's standards. This role involves leadership responsibilities, operational oversight, and direct interaction with customers to enhance their experience in-store.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate training, onboarding, and development.
  • Lead and direct associates as the Leader on Duty.
  • Address and resolve associate complaints and grievances.
  • Ensure compliance with store standards and company policies.
  • Promote store events and marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee pet sales and adoptions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the store.
  • Assist with point-of-sale operations and cash handling.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
