Overview

As a Retail Customer Service Supervisor at PetSmart, you will provide exceptional service to pet parents while leading and developing associates. This role is focused on enhancing the customer experience and supporting the operational effectiveness of the store across various functions.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Drive customer engagement and satisfaction
  • Manage store cleanliness, safety, and organization
  • Promote and coordinate store events and marketing activities
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns effectively
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and manage cash transactions
  • Maintain sales floor standards and oversee store operations
  • Assist in live pet sales and adoptions

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
