Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder) who will play a key role in enhancing the pet parent experience and overseeing store operations. This position involves leadership responsibilities such as training and mentoring associates, ensuring store cleanliness and safety, and promoting store events and services.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentorship, and performance feedback
  • Manage pet parent interactions and address concerns both in-store and online
  • Coordinate store events and promote pet adoptions and veterinary partnerships
  • Ensure store compliance with health and safety standards
  • Oversee the completion of daily operational tasks and maintain standards
  • Act as the Leader on Duty in the absence of other leaders
  • Assist with inventory management and financial transactions

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
