Overview

The Retail Customer Service Supervisor at PetSmart plays a vital role in enhancing the customer experience for pet parents while ensuring the store's safety and cleanliness. This position involves leadership responsibilities, supporting associate development, and driving store initiatives that align with the company's mission of doing Anything for Pets.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate development through training, mentoring, and performance feedback
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and manage pet parent interactions
  • Promote and coordinate store events and marketing initiatives
  • Maintain store standards for safety, cleanliness, and merchandising
  • Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Support the daily operational tasks and lead associates as needed
  • Address and resolve associate complaints and grievances

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications
