Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder) to enhance the pet parent experience while supporting associate development and store operations. This role is integral to maintaining brand integrity and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for both pets and pet parents.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching
  • Manage and address associate complaints and grievances
  • Ensure excellent pet parent service and respond to concerns
  • Promote and coordinate store events and marketing initiatives
  • Oversee merchandise sales and pet adoptions
  • Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
  • Assist in operational tasks and compliance with policies
  • Act as the Leader on Duty in the absence of other leaders

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
