Overview

PetSmart is looking for a Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder) to enhance the pet parent experience and support team development. This role is crucial for maintaining the store's standards while driving customer engagement and ensuring a safe environment for both pets and customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to pet parents in-store, online, and over the phone
  • Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching
  • Address and resolve associate complaints and grievances
  • Promote and coordinate store events and initiatives like adoptions and vet partnerships
  • Oversee store cleanliness, merchandising, and compliance with company policies
  • Manage cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems as needed
  • Maintain a safe environment for associates, pets, and pet parents
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
