Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor to enhance the pet parent experience while upholding the company's values and strategies. This key role focuses on leadership, customer service, and store operations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for pets and their owners.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate experience and support development through training and mentoring.
  • Ensure compliance with operational messages and engagement video compliance.
  • Direct associates when acting as the Leader on Duty.
  • Address and administer associate complaints and grievances.
  • Promote store events and coordinate marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee pet sales and adoptions.
  • Maintain store standards and cleanliness.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash transactions.
  • Assist in opening and closing store procedures.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Full-time availability with flexible schedule.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
