Overview

The Retail Customer Service Supervisor at PetSmart plays a vital role in enhancing the pet parent experience by providing exceptional service and overseeing store operations. This position focuses on leadership and development of associates while maintaining store standards and ensuring a safe environment for both pets and customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and support the development of associates through training, onboarding, and mentoring
  • Ensure exceptional customer service experiences for pet parents both in-store and online
  • Manage store marketing events and promotions related to adoptions and vet partnerships
  • Oversee live pet sales and pet adoption processes
  • Maintain store cleanliness and operational standards
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Address and resolve associate complaints and grievances
  • Assist with the opening and closing procedures of the store

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
