Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor, also known as an Experience Lead, who will provide exceptional service to pet parents while promoting the company's vision and values. This role is essential in overseeing store operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and engagement among associates and customers alike.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Lead and direct associates as the Leader on Duty.
  • Address and administer associate complaints and grievances.
  • Ensure pet parent experience and manage customer interactions.
  • Promote store events and partnerships for adoptions and services.
  • Maintain store standards and compliance with policies.
  • Oversee live pet sales and adoptions.
  • Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of various store areas.
  • Support operations during peak hours and special events.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Preferred leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
