Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor in Richmond, Texas, to provide exceptional service to pet parents while fostering a positive store experience. This role involves overseeing safety, cleanliness, and associate engagement, as well as driving customer experience initiatives and supporting team development.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate training, onboarding, and coaching.
  • Delegate and validate completion of daily tasks.
  • Address and administer associate complaints and grievances.
  • Promote and coordinate store events and marketing initiatives.
  • Support live pet sales and pet adoptions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain store standards.
  • Act as the Leader on Duty when required.
  • Assist other departments as needed.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
