Overview

PetSmart is looking for a Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder) to enhance the pet parent experience through exceptional service and oversight within the store. This role includes driving strategies for customer loyalty and managing the safety and cleanliness standards while supporting associate development and engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate development through training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Lead and direct associates as the Leader on Duty.
  • Manage pet parent experience and address concerns in person and online.
  • Promote and coordinate store events, adoptions, and partnerships.
  • Oversee store cleanliness and merchandising standards.
  • Assist in the operation of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
