Overview

The Retail Customer Service Supervisor at PetSmart is responsible for providing exceptional service to pet parents while ensuring brand integrity and an overall positive store experience. This role emphasizes leadership, training, and development of associates, along with managing store operations, promoting pet adoptions, and maintaining compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching
  • Drive pet parent experience strategies and manage customer interactions
  • Promote and coordinate store events and marketing initiatives
  • Maintain store cleanliness and uphold safety standards
  • Oversee daily operational tasks and delegate responsibilities to associates
  • Address associate complaints and recognize engagement efforts
  • Backup point-of-sale operations and handle cash transactions
  • Assist in maintaining sales floor and merchandise standards
  • Support various services businesses as needed

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
