Overview

The Retail Customer Service Supervisor at PetSmart plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to pet parents while supporting the company's vision and values. This position involves leading associates, ensuring a positive store environment, and promoting pet care initiatives, all aimed at enhancing customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate training, onboarding, and mentoring
  • Support the associate experience and engagement
  • Address and manage associate complaints and grievances
  • Ensure compliance with store standards and company policies
  • Promote store events and coordinate marketing for adoptions and vet partnerships
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store
  • Provide customer service through various interactions both in-person and online
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and manage cash transactions
  • Assist in overseeing daily operational tasks and procedures

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused environment
