Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor in San Angelo, Texas to provide exceptional service to pet parents while supporting the development of associates. This role involves overseeing store operations, ensuring a positive customer experience, and promoting the company's mission of doing anything for pets.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate development through training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Drive pet parent experience strategies through loyalty and promotions.
  • Oversee store cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement.
  • Address associate complaints and administer disciplinary actions.
  • Promote and coordinate store events and marketing for pet adoptions and services.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Assist with live pet sales, adoption procedures, and inventory management.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
