Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor in Richmond, Virginia, to provide exceptional service to pet parents while upholding the company's values. This role involves overseeing store operations, ensuring a positive customer experience, and supporting associate development.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate the associate experience and support associate development through training and mentoring
  • Drive pet parent experience strategies and handle customer inquiries
  • Promote and coordinate store events and marketing initiatives
  • Manage live pet sales, adoptions, and inventory processes
  • Maintain store standards and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Act as the Leader on Duty, supervising associates and addressing concerns
  • Prepare online orders for in-store pick-up

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Full-time availability and flexible schedule
  • Proficiency in computer applications
