Overview

As a Retail Customer Service Supervisor at PetSmart, you will play a key role in enhancing the pet parent experience while leading and developing your team. This position requires a passion for pets and exceptional customer service, with responsibilities that include overseeing store operations, supporting associates, and maintaining store standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to pet parents both in-store and online
  • Lead associate development through training, mentoring, and performance feedback
  • Manage store events and marketing initiatives related to pet adoptions and services
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain store cleanliness
  • Supervise daily store operations and delegate tasks effectively
  • Respond to pet parent concerns and promote pet-friendly initiatives
  • Assist with cash transactions and ensure accuracy in point-of-sale operations
  • Address and resolve associate complaints and grievances

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications
