Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder) in Grove City, Ohio, to enhance the pet parent experience while fostering a supportive and engaging associate environment. This role involves leadership in customer service, operational oversight, and the delivery of store initiatives aimed at promoting animal care and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate the associate experience and support associate development through training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Drive pet parent experience strategies and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Oversee store cleanliness, safety, and merchandising practices.
  • Address and resolve associate grievances and complaints.
  • Promote store events and marketing initiatives related to adoptions and veterinary partnerships.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and ensure accurate cash transactions.
  • Maintain high standards of sales floor and store conditions.
  • Assist in opening and closing procedures of the store.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
