Overview

As a Retail Customer Service Supervisor at PetSmart, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional pet parent service while leading and developing associates within the store. You will be responsible for enhancing the pet parent experience, ensuring store standards are met, and fostering an engaging workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate experience and support development through training and mentoring
  • Drive pet parent experience strategies through interactions and promotions
  • Oversee store cleanliness, merchandising, safety, and associate engagement
  • Address and administer associate complaints and grievances
  • Promote and coordinate store events and marketing initiatives
  • Ensure a safe environment for associates and pets
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
