Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor (Key Holder) in Spartanburg, South Carolina. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to pet parents while fostering a positive work environment for associates. Your responsibilities will include overseeing store operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting associate development.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching
  • Drive pet parent experience strategies through promotions and interactions
  • Ensure store cleanliness, safety of associates and pets, and compliance with policies
  • Manage daily tasks and delegate responsibilities to associates
  • Assist with live pet sales, adoptions, and store events
  • Maintain a positive store environment and culture
  • Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Availability for full-time hours and flexibility in scheduling
