Overview

As a Retail Customer Service Supervisor at PetSmart, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to pet parents and ensuring a positive experience within the store. This position involves leading the associate team, maintaining store standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate experience and support development through training and mentoring
  • Drive pet parent experience strategies and engage with customers both in-store and online
  • Oversee store cleanliness, safety protocols, and merchandising
  • Promote and coordinate store events and marketing initiatives
  • Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems
  • Administer associate complaints and grievances
  • Lead and direct associates when acting as the Leader on Duty

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
