Overview

Intuit is seeking a results-driven Retail Customer Advisor for their TurboTax Store in Chicago. This role focuses on providing a personalized and premium customer experience through consultative selling, guiding customers to the right solutions without preparing taxes directly.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet customers and ensure a positive first impression as the face of the TurboTax brand.
  • Proactively identify and understand the underlying needs of each customer.
  • Offer expert, personalized consultations on TurboTax services to build interest and excitement.
  • Guide customers through their decision-making journey to ensure a seamless transition to tax professionals.
  • Follow up with potential customers to provide continued support and guidance.
  • Provide critical feedback as part of the team shaping the future of retail locations.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or a customer-facing role
  • Proven track record in consultative selling and solving customer problems
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
  • Tax knowledge preferred but not required
