Fresh Baguette is a rapidly expanding artisanal bakery known for high-quality organic baked goods inspired by French culinary traditions. The Retail Baker role involves engaging with customers, baking a variety of products, and ensuring a positive customer experience in a fast-paced environment in McLean, VA.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and prompt customer service
  • Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently
  • Offer product recommendations to enhance customer experience
  • Bake a variety of breads and baked goods to perfection
  • Prepare products for the next day's baking schedule
  • Organize and maintain freezer and fridge areas
  • Pack away delivery items and ensure proper storage
  • Set up the bread display for an inviting presentation
  • Clean and sanitize the baking station after use
  • Ensure compliance with safety and food storage standards
  • Make and serve baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and pastries
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the store
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers
