Job Description Job Description RestoreCore is hiring a Restoration Estimator to inspect property damage, develop scopes of work, and prepare accurate estimates for commercial restoration projects.This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in property restoration, construction estimating, insurance claims, Xactimate, project coordination, or a related field. You will work with experienced estimators and Project Managers while developing your technical, estimating, and negotiation skills.What You'll DoInspect commercial and residential properties affected by water, fire, mold, storm, and other damageDocument property damage using photos, measurements, notes, and diagramsDevelop detailed scopes of work for mitigation, reconstruction, and restoration projectsPrepare accurate estimates using Xactimate and other insurance estimating softwareReview construction materials, labor requirements, equipment, and project costsSubmit estimates for review and complete revisions or supplementsCommunicate with property owners, adjusters, insurance carriers, Project Managers, and internal teamsMaintain accurate project documentation and estimate updates in company systemsSupport projects from the initial inspection through estimate approvalParticipate in production meetings, training, and occasional emergency responseWhat We're Looking ForExperience in restoration, construction, estimating, insurance claims, project coordination, or a related fieldBasic knowledge of residential or commercial constructionXactimate experience is preferredExperience preparing scopes, estimates, supplements, or property damage documentation is a plusStrong communication, customer service, and negotiation skillsExcellent organization and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Office and OutlookValid driver's license and ability to travel to local job sitesWillingness to occasionally assist with after-hours emergency lossesWhy Join RestoreCore?RestoreCore is a family-owned disaster restoration company serving commercial and residential clients throughout the region. Candidates must be able to walk, stand, bend, climb, wear required personal protective equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
