Overview

New Horizon Foods is seeking a skilled and personable Restaurant Server for its Crave and Grand Central Bistro in Watertown, WI. This part-time role focuses on providing excellent service in a welcoming, resident-focused environment, especially during evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly and provide attentive table service
  • Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions clearly
  • Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely, professional manner
  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly set dining areas
  • Process payments and operate the POS system
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
  • Address guest concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude

Required skills

  • 1+ year of restaurant serving experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience with POS systems
  • Ability to remain calm and friendly in fast-paced environments
  • Attention to cleanliness, food safety, and presentation standards
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Watertown Bartender License required or ability to obtain shortly after hire
