Overview

Perkins American Food Co. is seeking a dedicated and ambitious Restaurant Manager for their Wheeling location. The Restaurant Manager will oversee front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent food and service delivery while managing the front-of-house staff in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
  • Oversee cleanliness of the restaurant and safety of guests
  • Manage and practice safe food-handling procedures
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training front-of-house staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior management experience in family or casual dining
  • ServSafe Food Manager Certification preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and organization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods
