Overview

Perkins American Food Co. is seeking a dedicated and ambitious Restaurant Manager for their location in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. This role involves overseeing front-of-house operations to ensure exceptional food and service experiences for guests while managing front-of-house employees in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee front-of-house operations and manage daily activities
  • Drive sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
  • Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and safety of guests
  • Practice and manage safe food-handling procedures
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training front-of-house staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior management experience in family or casual dining
  • ServSafe Food Manager Certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and organization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods
