Overview

ROJO CALIENTE RESTAURANTS INC is seeking a Restaurant Manager in Reno, Nevada, who is a confident decision-maker and a born leader with a passion for customer service and team development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in restaurant management and financial oversight, while ensuring an excellent dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain fast and accurate service and provide excellent customer service
  • Maximize store sales goals versus budget and participate in marketing programs
  • Oversee and increase catering sales
  • Train and monitor food safety procedures
  • Manage food and labor costs and execute company policies
  • Monitor food inventory levels and order product as needed
  • Manage crew member employees to encourage growth and reduce turnover
  • Interview and hire team members and provide appropriate training
  • Anticipate and identify problems, initiating corrective actions

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality management degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of hospitality-related experience
  • 3+ years of restaurant management or leadership experience
  • Familiarity with local health and safety regulations
  • Knowledge of labor laws and employee management regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Valid food handler's certification
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
