Hotel Sutter is seeking a detail-oriented Restaurant Cook for their busy establishment in Sutter Creek, California. This role involves preparing and presenting dishes according to specified recipes and standards while ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for ingredients and manage waste correctly
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work stations, utensils, and equipment
  • Establish food stations and stock necessary ingredients for the shift
  • Prepare food orders by cooking items to order while following presentation guidelines and standard recipes

Required skills

  • Experience with various cooking techniques (poaching, braising, roasting, charbroiling, sautéing, grilling, frying, bak
  • Strong understanding of kitchen safety and food storage compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • 2+ years of experience, preferably in the sauté and grill stations
