Overview

As an Assistant Manager at Zaxby's, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the restaurant delivers exceptional experiences to guests while upholding operational standards. Your responsibilities will include managing daily operations, training team members, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete all training requirements including Food Safety Certification
  • Enhance guest experiences by exceeding expectations
  • Ensure team members receive proper training and ongoing coaching
  • Create and delegate work schedules in compliance with standards and laws
  • Supervise and coach team members to perform at their best
  • Uphold service, product quality, and cleanliness standards
  • Manage performance concerns and assist with performance reviews
  • Create and maintain a positive culture and team morale
  • Handle and report guest and team member complaints respectfully
  • Maintain compliance with operational standards and regulations

Required skills

  • 1-3 years management experience
  • Restaurant management experience preferred
  • Leadership qualities and organizational skills
  • Ability to interact cooperatively with others
  • Open availability including flexible scheduling
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
