Zaxby's is seeking an Assistant Manager for their Knoxville, Tennessee location. This role is critical in ensuring that the restaurant delivers excellent guest experiences while maintaining operational standards. The Assistant Manager will manage daily operations, overseeing team performance and training, and will play a vital role in fostering a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete all training requirements including food safety certification and manager certification
  • Enhance guest experiences by ensuring team members exceed expectations
  • Provide training and ongoing coaching to team members
  • Create effective work schedules and delegate shift assignments
  • Supervise and lead team members to achieve performance goals
  • Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are upheld
  • Handle guest and team member complaints responsibly
  • Maintain compliance with operational standards and local laws
  • Utilize management tools and maintain accurate records

Required skills

  • 1-3 years of management experience
  • Restaurant management experience preferred
  • Leadership qualities and organizational skills
