Overview

Zaxby's is seeking an Assistant Manager for its Knoxville, Tennessee location. This role involves managing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent guest experiences while adhering to company standards and operational guidelines. The Assistant Manager will lead the team, facilitate training, and maintain a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete all training requirements including food safety certification and management certification
  • Enhance guest experiences by ensuring team member performance meets expectations
  • Create effective work schedules in compliance with company standards and local laws
  • Supervise, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance goals
  • Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are upheld
  • Handle guest and team member complaints in a friendly manner
  • Maintain compliance with all guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Report all human resources and risk management concerns promptly

Required skills

  • 1-3 years of management experience required
  • Restaurant management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Effective communication skills in speech, reading, and writing
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
