Overview

HCA HealthONE is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Manager for the Sky Ridge team in Littleton, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high levels of patient, employee, and physician satisfaction while overseeing department operations and regulatory compliance within the respiratory therapy unit. This position demands leadership capabilities and advanced knowledge in respiratory care.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain systems to promote high satisfaction levels for patients, employees, and physicians
  • Assume 24-hour department accountability and maintain adequate staffing
  • Oversee unit Environment of Care and compliance with regulatory functions
  • Participate in interviewing, mentoring, coaching, evaluating, and disciplinary processes
  • Develop unit-specific goals including program development and quality improvements
  • Implement cost-effective strategies in staffing and supply management
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in patient care

Required skills

  • Current licensure as a respiratory therapist
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • RRT credential required
  • Five years of clinical experience preferred
  • Three years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Expert knowledge of respiratory care principles and procedures
  • Ability to function independently under pressure
