Overview

UCHealth is seeking a full-time Respiratory Care Therapist to provide patient care in the Respiratory Care department at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care outcomes and supporting new graduates with mentoring and professional development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide top of scope practice in direct patient care using respiratory therapy protocols
  • Partner effectively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional care outcomes
  • Precept and mentor new healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC
  • BLS certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • NRP and PALS certifications within specified timeframes for relevant assignments
