Overview

SSM Health is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioner (CRT) to join their team at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri. This full-time position involves providing respiratory care services and evaluating patients' respiratory therapy needs. The role also includes educating patients and their families about health conditions and community support options.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess patients for appropriate treatment and develop care plans
  • Administer prescribed respiratory therapeutic services
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans and equipment
  • Perform advanced respiratory care modalities
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and support programs
  • Assist with equipment care, calibration, and maintenance
  • Maintain departmental inventory levels for supplies and equipment
  • Respond to medical emergencies and rapid responses
