Overview

Cuso International is seeking a Resource Mobilization and Fundraising Advisor to support the Tanzania Health Forum Initiative in Dar es Salaam. This volunteer role focuses on leading resource mobilization efforts to secure funding and build partnerships to enhance financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the proposal development process for funding from institutional and private donors
  • Design and execute resource mobilization systems for efficient grant tracking
  • Conduct donor landscape mapping and maintain a dynamic donor database
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with potential donors and partners
  • Establish a centralized repository of winning proposals and relevant data

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in development studies, sociology, project management or related field
  • Minimum of four years of fundraising experience with a proven track record
  • Expertise in grant proposal writing and budget design
  • Experience in donor mapping and relationship cultivation
  • Strong proficiency in project management and Microsoft Office Suite
