Overview

Baker Truck Service is seeking a Residuals Tender to manage the flow of residual materials from bins to trailers. This role involves operating yard trucks for trailer repositioning and ensuring efficient loading and unloading of wood chips while adhering to safety and compliance regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate yard trucks to reposition trailers
  • Manage the flow of residuals into trailers
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations
  • Keep the work area clean during and after shifts
  • Stage trailers for ease of pickup
  • Report maintenance issues to the Mechanic Shop
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work the swing shift from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance rules
  • Ability to read and understand printed materials
  • Adaptability to shift work and overtime
  • Ability to work in loud industrial environments
  • Physical capability for repetitive movements and various weather conditions
