Overview

Baker Truck Service is seeking a Residuals Tender to efficiently manage the flow of residuals from bins to trailers. The role involves operating a yard truck for repositioning trailers, adhering to safety regulations, maintaining a clean work area, and performing various related responsibilities on the swing shift.

Key responsibilities

  • Control and maintain residual flow from bins to trailers
  • Operate a yard truck to reposition trailers for loading or unloading
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations
  • Ensure the work area is clean at all times
  • Stage trailers for easy pickup
  • Report maintenance issues to the Mechanic Shop
  • Perform other assigned duties

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A, CDL
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance rules and regulations
  • Ability to read and understand printed materials
  • Willingness to work shift hours and overtime as needed
  • Adaptability to various weather and loud conditions
