Overview

Baker Truck Service is looking for a Residuals Tender to manage the flow of residuals from bins to trailers while ensuring safety and efficiency. The role involves operating a yard truck, performing shift work, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Control and maintain residual flow from bins to trailers
  • Operate a yard truck for trailer repositioning
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations
  • Stage trailers for ease of pickup
  • Report maintenance problems to the Mechanic Shop
  • Perform cleanup during and after the shift
  • Work the Swing Shift from 4:00pm to 12:00am

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance rules and regulations
  • Ability to read and understand printed materials
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitious movements
  • Ability to adapt to various weather and loud conditions
