Overview

Baker Truck Service is seeking a Residuals Tender to efficiently control and maintain the flow of residuals from bins to trailers. This role primarily involves operating a yard truck for trailer repositioning and loading/unloading processes, all while adhering to safety and compliance regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate a yard truck to reposition trailers
  • Control the flow of residuals into trailers
  • Comply with safety rules and company regulations
  • Keep work area clean during and after shifts
  • Stage trailers for ease of pickup
  • Report maintenance issues to the Mechanic Shop
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance and weight limits
  • Ability to read and understand printed materials
  • Time management and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to various weather and loud conditions
